BidCheck waitlist privacy notice

Effective September 11, 2026. This notice covers the BidCheck early-access waitlist, beta account operations and optional website analytics.

What we collect and why

We collect your name, company, email, phone number, location, role, trades, project types, bid volume, typical contract value, specification-review habits, and answers about estimating risks. We use these details to manage your early-access request, understand customer needs, and decide which teams may be a good fit for early access. Please do not include confidential project or client information in your answers.

Beta accounts and optional analytics

Authorized BidCheck administrators can view account activation and login dates, submitted review activity, processing failures, and API token usage and estimated model costs. We use this information to support testers, improve reliability and evaluate pricing. Operational records are retained while providing the service; contact us about access or deletion requests.

Only if you allow analytics, we save a random browser identifier and your choice in local storage for 90 days. We store a hash of that identifier, public page paths and visit times for up to 90 days to count views and distinct browsers. We do not store raw IP addresses, full URLs, search parameters or advertising profiles in this analytics database. A short-lived hashed network identifier limits abuse. Declining does not affect access. You can change your analytics preference below. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Your choices

Joining requests emails about your waitlist request and early access. Product news and estimating tips require a separate, optional opt-in. Neither checkbox is preselected. We record the consent wording, version, and time. Providing a phone number does not consent to marketing calls or text messages. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe method in our emails or by contacting us below. Joining does not require a purchase.

Storage and access

Waitlist information is stored in our Supabase database and processed through our Vercel-hosted website. Access is restricted to authorized operators and service providers supporting the waitlist. Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We do not sell waitlist information. We also retain a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit abusive submissions; we do not store your raw IP address in the waitlist.

Retention and requests

We retain waitlist information while managing early access and review it when the waitlist closes. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or removal from the waitlist. We may retain a limited record of consent and withdrawal to honor your preferences and meet applicable obligations.
